We concentrate our practice in the area of ad valorem Tax Appeals with an emphasis on complex commercial and industrial valuation litigation, as well as residential.

The article focuses on the growing trend of Pennsylvania school districts using the services of a consultant on a contingency basis to identify and file appeals to increase the assessments of large commercial taxpayers. The authors explore the legal and ethical issues surrounding this modern day bounty hunting on commercial property.
